How Long is the 3D and 4D Ultrasound Session?
Depending on the Ultrasound package selected, your session will last between 10 and 45 minutes.  The additional time is added to the Ultimate package. 

What is a 3D Ultrasound?
A 3D Ultrasound picture is a still image made as an Ultrasound machine projects sound waves, then listens for a pattern of returned echoes and generates images based on the received data. The end results are detailed pictures of your beautiful child.

What is 4D Ultrasound?
4D is shorthand for four dimensional.  4D enables you to see your baby's movement in the womb in real time.  It is such a gratifying experience to see them smile, yawn or even play with their toes.  This will be recorded from the Ultrasound machine that you are viewing on our monitor.

What is the Benefit of 4D Ultrasound?
Observing your baby’s movements add realistic life to any still portrait. The 4D viewing results in a unique
prenatal bonding between mother and child, due to modern technology. Family and friends will now be able to share that exciting first look. To watch your unborn child actively moving makes the forthcoming birth that much more thrilling.

Is it Safe to do 2D, 3D, 4D and 5D Ultrasounds?
Ultrasound uses sound waves. This technology has been used in clinical applications, even with pregnant women and their unborn child, in hospitals and clinics all over the world since the 1950’s. Ultrasound has nothing to do with harmful radiation.

Is this Covered by Insurance? 
Insurance does not pay for this because it is an elective procedure. You will need to cover the cost of the appointment at the time of the service. We only accept cash for our services.
 
Having Twins or Triplets?  We will need extra time allotted to get images of your babies. You will be receiving extra printed pictures, unlimited pictures emailed directly to you or on your USB and additional 4D video time. Depending on the package chosen, we might charge an additional $75.00 to the package you have chosen for each additional child.  This will be listed on each listed package listed.

What should I do prior to the 3D/4D appointment?
Instructions will be texted directly to you to follow (unless you are told not to by your physician).

 What hours is Baby, Say Cheese Open?
Ultrasound scans are scheduled by appointment. Same day appointments are available depending upon schedule. Most of the time we are open 7 days a week.  Please give us a call.   Perfect for someone who needs evening and weekend appointments so dad or grandparent could come with you.
